1. About these terms

These terms describe use of the CheapCheck website, operated by Fiume Systems PL t/a CheapCheck.com.au. Please read them with our privacy notice. They apply to use of this website; purchases from external retailers are subject to that retailer’s terms and applicable law.

2. What CheapCheck provides

We publish product information and comparisons of selected Australian retailer listings to help you check a product before buying. We do not cover every retailer or every way to buy, and we do not guarantee the lowest price across the whole market.

CheapCheck is not the seller, a payment service or the retailer’s agent. We cannot accept an order, reserve stock, honour a retailer price or process a retailer refund. For orders, delivery, returns and warranties, contact the retailer you buy from.

3. Prices and purchasing conditions

At launch, prices are dated manual observations of retailer pages, not live quotes. A check date records when a page was reviewed, not a promise that its price or availability remains unchanged. All displayed amounts are in Australian dollars.

A Listed Price is the amount observed on the retailer page. A Direct Price includes compulsory delivery. A Best Effective Price includes delivery and only supported compatible savings. Where delivery or eligibility is unknown, we cannot confirm a final total. Savings, cashback or gift-card benefits must not be assumed unless expressly supported in the displayed route.

Before buying, confirm the exact model and variant, seller, stock, delivery location, taxes, fees, eligibility and final checkout total with the retailer. A listing is information about an external offer, not an offer by CheapCheck to sell the product.

Conditional cashback, if introduced, may be delayed or declined under the provider’s rules and is separate from what you pay upfront. We do not promise a saving, cashback payment or future price. Past prices do not guarantee future prices.

4. Links and independent ranking

If a retailer pays us a commission, it never changes how we rank prices.

External websites have their own terms, privacy practices and offer conditions. We do not control their content or fulfilment. Retailer inclusion does not imply endorsement or partnership.

5. Saved price targets

Saved targets currently stay in your browser’s local storage. They do not create an account, monitor a price, send email or push alerts, or sync across devices. Removing the target or clearing browser data deletes it. Any future alert service will explain its operation and terms before you sign up.

6. Responsible use and website content

You may browse the site and share links for lawful purposes. Please do not interfere with its security, attempt unauthorised access, impersonate others or use automated requests that disrupt the service.

CheapCheck’s original website content and branding are owned by its operator or used with permission where applicable. Third-party product images, names and trademarks remain the property of their owners. These terms do not grant rights to reproduce third-party material. Any use permitted by applicable law remains permitted.

7. Accuracy, availability and your rights

We aim to publish accurate information and correct verified errors. The site may contain errors or be temporarily unavailable, and comparisons depend on the sources and conditions described. Please report an issue through our contact page.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a right, guarantee or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law. These terms do not limit any responsibility we have under applicable law.

8. Updates and contact

We may update these terms as the service changes. The date above identifies the published version; changes apply from publication and do not remove rights arising beforehand. Material changes will also be explained in the affected interface where relevant.
